In 1991, Hasbro released their line of Bucky O’Hare and the Toad Wars action figures. Bucky O’Hare had all the makings to be a mega-hit, designed as a total packaging franchise from the very beginning. Born from a comic, Bucky blasted into the 90’s with an animated series, two great video games from Konami, and this line of action figures from Hasbro!

So what happened? How could Bucky fizzle out in just one year? We’re exploring the Hasbro toy line, examining what might have happened and looking at what could have been – today on Toysplosion!
